About us
A local firm that started with one van.
Helen started Hollin Cleaning Co. in 2014, cleaning four houses a week around Brackenford. Eleven years on there are fourteen of us, and we still answer the phone ourselves.
We clean homes, rented flats and a few small offices within about twelve miles of Mill Yard. Most of our clients found us through a neighbour, and most of them have had the same cleaner for years. We’d like to keep it that way.
01
Insured and checked
£5m public liability and £10m employers’ liability cover. Every cleaner is reference-checked and DBS-checked before their first job.
02
Staff, not subcontractors
All 14 of our cleaners are employed by us, with holiday pay, sick pay and paid travel time between jobs. People stay, so you keep your cleaner.
03
Kinder products
Plant-based cleaners in refillable bottles, and cloths washed at 60° between homes so nothing travels from one house to the next.
What we clean with
Strong enough for limescale. Gentle enough for the dog.
We switched to plant-based products in 2019 and haven’t missed bleach once. If you have allergies or would rather we used your own, tell us when you book.
